Technical FAQ

Deeper insights into the Foundry ecosystem and launch protocol.

When is the official launch date?

Foundry is currently in a closed engineering preview. We are targeting Q4 2024 for general availability for Solo and Team tiers. Enterprise onboarding is currently active on a rolling basis.

How does Foundry compare to Terraform?

While we support HCL import, Foundry is a real-time infrastructure orchestrator. Unlike Terraform's plan-apply cycle, Foundry maintains a continuous live graph of your cloud state, enabling instantaneous drift correction and asset discovery without manual refreshes.

Is it safe for production environments?

Every Foundry deployment is wrapped in an immutable audit layer. Our "Simulate First" protocol allows engineers to dry-run infrastructure changes against a real-world shadow of their production environment before a single byte is provisioned.

Do you support Multi-Cloud?

Launch focus is exclusively AWS-native to ensure the deepest possible integration. Support for Azure and GCP is on the roadmap for late 2025.
